has come to the rescue. Last year they modified their ingredients for Rice Chex Cereal to make it gluten-free while maintaining its trademark tastiness. Now they are tackling variety by releasing more flavors reformulated as gluten-free. Corn, Honey Nut, Strawberry, Chocolate, and Cinnamon Chex are all currently in production and scheduled to start appearing on store shelves June 1st, 2009. The manufacturer, General Mills, has replaced the barley malt syrup with molasses in and effort to make these products gluten-free without taking away any of the crunchy, oven toasted yumminess they are known for.
