When Crunchmaster teamed up with the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness for our “Holiday Dips & Dishes” gluten-free recipe contest, I promptly celebrated by tearing open a bag of Crunchmaster Multi-Seed Crackers. All that talk about snacking couldn’t go unfulfilled, and those seed-speckled hexagons offered just the right crunch.
While chatting with the Crunchmaster folks, I picked up some valuable intel. First off, Crunchmaster has a new product, Multi-Grain Crisps. These newbies boast the same sesame, quinoa, flax and amaranth seeds as the company’s crackers, but they’re bite-sized, which means you get to eat twice the amount in a single serving. What’s more, they’re available at Walmart, so you can stock up whenever you stop by for the countless other items you’ll be buying this season.
As for the good old Multi-Seed Crackers, they’ve gotten a facelift just in time for the holidays. The crackers are the same (including the subtly salty Tamari flavor that makes them so addicting), but packaging has been updated to a bright and toasty yellow background with purple Crunchmaster logo. Not a huge change, but a little sprucing up never hurts, especially when there’s a new addition (I’m looking at you, Crisps) to contend with.
Finally, and perhaps most exciting, free tastings for all! Crunchmaster demos have been taking place across the country this month, and they’ll continue through Dec. 31. This weekend, for instance, the company’s Multi-Grain Crackers will be dished out with cheese at Sam’s Club stores nationwide. Protein? Check. Fiber? Check. Bring on the holiday shopping.
